Cork pub takes advantage of teachers' strike, invites students to 'study'
THE AGENT PROVOCATEURS at the Bishopstown Bar in Cork are at it again.
The pub has attempted to capitalise on the teachers’ strike today by tweeting an invitation to secondary school students to “study” there.
When questioned on what exactly they meant, the pub claimed it was all innocent, and they were just advertising their breakfast:
Some people aren’t exactly convinced.
Whoops!
We couldn't find this Tweet
The Bishopstown Bar previously got themselves in hot water for this tweet about the increase in child benefit in last year’s Budget, which was deemed “insensitive” and “disgusting”:
You just can’t keep these messers down.
